The North Dakota Adult Education Resource Center’s purpose is to provide training, technical assistance and resources for adult education staff and volunteer personnel engaged in programs designed to carry out the purposes of the National Literacy Act.  It is the intent of the Resource Center to provide training to maintain a high quality professional standard for teachers, volunteers and administrators.  Emphasis is threefold: a) train adult educators and instructors of adults with limited English proficiency; b) train teachers to more effectively diagnose and teach adults with limited academic achievement due to learning disabilities; and c) provide current instructional strategies and resources to meet academic standards to prepare for advanced education.
