	Minot Public Schools
	Minot Public Schools has included character education as an integral part of its strategic plan. The district has adopted a two prong approach to the issue. A local coalition has been formed to address the issue of character education and has adopted the principles of Character Counts! Most of the school buildings in Minot have included character education in their school improvement plans. The Character Counts! Program has been integrated into the classrooms at all of the elementary and middle levels. They plan to work with the Yellowstone Trail Consortium to review and improve upon their plan. A coordinator in each elementary and middle school will be designated to coordinate activities and information. The athletic director will attend the national Character Development in Sports conference. Restitution will also be investigated. Back to ND Character Ed Map
