Proclamation from the governor of North Dakota, John Hoeven
September 30 - October 6, 2007

                      Whereas, teachers throughout our state and nation, along with the Association for Childhood Education International, actively work to promote the inherent rights, education and well-being of all children; and
                      Whereas, as a crucial part of children’s educational experiences, teachers work side by side with parents and administrators every day to provide the best learning environments for their students and. And
                      Whereas, teachers use their skills to help ensure that our children have the resources necessary to become productive citizens and future leaders’ and
                      Whereas, the Week of the Classroom Teacher provides a unique opportunity for citizens throughout the state to honor our teachers for their dedication to upholding the highest standards of educational excellence and for their commitment to ensuring that our young people achieve their maximum potential; and
                     Whereas, North Dakotans are encouraged to honor teachers across the state for their significant contributions to our children’s futures
