North Dakota Tier I SIG Waiver

On August 15, 2011, the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) released notice regarding an opportunity for states to apply for a waiver regarding School Improvement Grants (SIG). The USDE is allowing states to apply for a waiver to allow Tier I schools using SIG funds to have additional time to establish a teacher evaluation system that ties evaluations to student achievement data.
